Application fit & configuration

Choose a finished bale your recycler can accept.

Match a vertical hydraulic baler to the material, collection volume and handling route. Press force is one selection input; bale dimensions, tying and removal matter just as much.

Vertical Hydraulic Baling Press Overview

This vertical hydraulic baler compresses loose recyclable materials into compact bales to reduce storage volume and simplify handling and transport. The existing model table covers press forces from 8 to 120 ton, allowing the machine to be selected according to the material, loose density, daily volume and target bale size.

Typical materials include waste paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, plastic film, woven bags, textiles and straw. Cans and selected metal materials are suitable for the 60, 80, 100 and 120 ton models; final suitability still depends on the material thickness, loose density and required bale.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which model should I choose?

Selection depends on material type, loose density, daily volume, target bale weight, target bale dimensions, available floor area and installation height.

Does bale weight stay the same for every material?

No. Bale weight changes with material density, moisture, loading method and compression settings. The table values should be treated as reference values.

Is bale ejection automatic?

60T and 80T models can be specified with optional push-out discharge. Include the option in the quotation and order; do not assume it is standard on every model.

Can the machine bale cans or metal materials?

Yes, for the 60, 80, 100 and 120 ton models. Please provide the material type, thickness, loose density and target bale so the selected configuration can be checked.

What is the warranty period?

The confirmed warranty period for this vertical hydraulic baler series is two years.

What site information is required?

Please provide available floor space, ceiling height, power supply, loading method, finished-bale handling method and destination country.

Select a baler around your material and finished bale

Cardboard, plastic film or textiles: what should I send?

  • Cardboard and waste paper: largest pieces, loose volume per shift, moisture condition and the bale size/weight accepted by your recycler.
  • Plastic film and woven bags: material type, whether clean or contaminated, loose bulk and how the material expands after pressing. Confirm binding and handling with a representative sample.
  • Textiles: fibre/material type, offcut sizes, loose density, required bale dimensions and the way the finished bale will be lifted.

Does a 40 ton press always produce a 200 kg bale?

No. Press force and finished bale weight measure different things. Bale weight depends on the material, chamber, loading and compression conditions. The series table is a reference; agree the target on your actual material and the quoted configuration.

What does the Sri Lanka KPW-40T case demonstrate?

The Sri Lanka KPW-40T customer case presents approved machine photographs, anonymised order/shipping documents and that order's technical reference. Its waste-paper bale-weight reference is 150–200 kg. It is not a measured result for every material, and the separate 10 ton reference on this page does not describe the 40 ton order.

How much installation space should I allow?

Check more than the machine footprint: ceiling height, door opening, loading access, tying and bale-ejection space, service access and the route for a pallet truck or forklift. Send a simple site layout, destination country, voltage, phase and frequency.

When should I compare a horizontal baler?

For sustained feeding or higher material volumes, review a horizontal cardboard baler alongside a vertical model. Compare the actual feeding, tying, ejection, available space and staffing arrangement; orientation alone does not establish capacity or automation.

Send Your Baling Requirements

Choosing a vertical baler for your material

Compare material, bale size, handling space and local power requirements before choosing a model.

Read the vertical hydraulic baler selection guide, including a KPW-40T order reference and a practical quotation checklist.

Build an evidence-based quotation

Turn your packing problem into an acceptance check

The bale may not suit the collection route

Send your recycler’s accepted material, bale dimensions and target weight; keep cardboard and plastic references separate.

Loading fits, but removing the bale does not

Include the door swing, loading space, finished-bale route and lifting method in a measured site sketch.

A stoppage interrupts daily waste handling

Agree model-specific instructions, training, spare-parts list and the information needed for fault support.

Compare measurable results

Measure bale mass and the entire fill–press–tie–remove cycle with your material. Compare loose and baled volumes on the same material batch; no fixed compression or payback percentage is assumed.

Bring your hardest product or packing condition

Ask for a model comparison, site-fit review and a material-specific bale trial plan. The approved Sri Lanka KPW-40T case is available below.

Include in your inquiry: Material and photos; kg/day or loose volume/day; collection specification; target bale; site sketch; voltage/phase/frequency.

Start with the product or material, its size range and your required output. Use the inquiry form below to provide your contact details; sample shipment and trial scope can then be agreed.
