A pallet strapping machine enquiry can refer to two different workflows: a mobile tool that helps an operator route strap around a pallet, or a fixed strapping station connected to a conveyor. Decide which task you need to automate before comparing equipment prices or cycle times.
Mobile pallet strap threading
The Keepway TP-800 mobile pallet strap-threading system routes strap under and around the pallet. The operator then handles the strap with the sealing head. Confirm the strapping head and consumables included in the proposed package.
For this TP-800 configuration, the confirmed maximum package height is 2400 mm, charging time is approximately 3.5 hours, and output is approximately 600 strap-threading operations per full charge. Battery output varies with package dimensions and operation. A threading operation is not a completed pallet: a pallet requiring several straps uses several operations.
Check the pallet's underside and ground clearance, strap route, access around the load and the sealing-head position. Confirm PP or PET compatibility for the complete combination of strap, feeding system and sealing head.
Automatic pallet strapping line
An automatic pallet strapping line is a separate equipment option. Review conveyor interfaces, pallet positioning, strap locations and the upstream and downstream sequence. Request a layout and a trial cycle for the specified load.
The mobile system's dimensions, battery figures and operator workflow must not be applied to the automatic line. Obtain the power supply, strapping head, strap sizes, safety provisions and output for the exact line configuration quoted.
Strapping and stretch wrapping serve different packing tasks
Straps hold the load at defined positions; stretch film covers and contains a load according to its wrapping pattern. Some applications use both. The pallet strapping versus stretch wrapping guide helps organise that comparison.
Build the business case from a sample trial
Record operator time, straps per pallet, consumable cost, charging or changeover time and the full handling cycle. Assess the finished load against your shipping requirements. Use those observations for your cost comparison; savings and damage rates depend on the application.
For selection, send pallet photographs, dimensions, weight, underside clearance, the preferred strap, daily volume and the destination power supply. State whether you want mobile operation or a conveyor-connected line.
