CARTON TAPE WRAPPING · KPW-3040
Wrap adhesive tape around the carton, with the turn count you specify
Use this ring-type tape wrapping machine when the packing task calls for tape around a carton or a prepared bundle. The KPW-3040 provides a selectable winding count and sensor or foot-pedal start modes. Start with a photo showing the exact tape path you need, then match the filled carton, tape and handling sequence.

Choose the tape path before choosing the machine
Tape around a box or bundle
Confirm the wrap direction, number of turns and positions. If you need tape in two directions, include the reorientation step in the demonstration and quotation. A cross-taped example does not establish automatic box turning.
Tape along the centre seam
If the task is applying tape along the top and bottom flaps, compare the adjustable carton case sealer. Ring wrapping, flap folding and centre-seam sealing are separate functions; specify which stages your order includes.
Automatic winding does not establish automatic carton forming, flap folding, loading or discharge. Agree who presents and collects the cartons and what equipment connects to the station.
Watch the wrapping arrangement
Check the loading, winding and collection steps in the demonstration. Request a run with your own box size, tape and required turn count before planning shift output.

A useful trial checks the finished carton, not just the winding cycle
1 · Fit and presentation
Test the smallest and largest filled cartons and any fragile or irregular bundle. Check position, clearances, loading and collection using the intended orientation.
2 · Adhesion and appearance
Use the actual carton finish and proposed tape. Agree checks for lifting edges, wrinkles, surface marking and opening behaviour after the intended storage or handling conditions. Printed packaging may need different acceptance criteria from plain shipping cartons.
3 · Complete output
Record accepted cartons during an agreed time window, along with wrap turns, operator tasks, tape changes, repositioning and rework. Keep these conditions with the result.
4 · Material use
Record tape consumed over the same run and divide by accepted cartons. Compare quotations using the same carton and wrap recipe; this page does not claim a fixed percentage saving.
Send a box photo with the tape path marked
Include filled carton dimensions and weight, minimum/maximum sizes, carton surface, tape width and roll details, target output, required turns, destination power supply and available air supply. Tell us whether loading, box turning or conveyor transfer must be included.
Ask for a configuration review, the included-equipment list and a sample-run plan addressing those details.
